The SNPYGOAT Software is made available as part of the SNPYGOAT multiplex PCR primer extension assay. This molecular kit was developed for genotyping four diagnostic single nucleotide polymorphisms located in two regions of the goat Y chromosome-linked SRY gene.

The SNPYGOAT Software allows users of the SNPYGOAT multiplex system to rapidly identify the Y-chromosomal haplotypes Y1A, Y1B, Y1C and Y2 by automatically comparing the obtained profile with a reference database.
